Agreement adds more than 30,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs to Narvik campus
London, U.K. 14 April 2026 – Today, Nscale expanded its agreement with Microsoft to deliver even more high-performance AI compute capacity in Norway in 2027. Expanding Nscale and Microsoft’s previous deal, the 230 MW Nscale Narvik campus will add more than 30,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs in deployment, making it one of the largest onshore infrastructure projects in Norway.
This builds on Nscale’s previously announced NVIDIA Vera Rubin rollout in support of Microsoft and reflects Nscale’s move to bring the latest and most advanced AI infrastructure online for customers across key markets.
The Narvik deployment follows the previously announced roll up of the Aker Nscale joint venture — and will be a project solely managed by Nscale.
Josh Payne, Founder and CEO at Nscale said: “Customer demand for advanced AI infrastructure continues to accelerate across markets, and our focus is on bringing the latest technology online in the right locations and at real scale. Deployments in Narvik reflect strong demand from customers and Nscale continues to respond with pace and relentless execution.”
Jon Tinter, President, Business Development and Ventures at Microsoft: “Expanding our work with Nscale in Narvik helps ensure Microsoft customers have access to the advanced AI infrastructure they need as demand continues to grow across Europe. By bringing scalable capacity online with experienced partners like Nscale, we’re enabling the next generation of AI workloads with the latest infrastructure deployed at real-world scale.”
